“Match Highlights:

The kick off lands on the touch line near the half way mark, and so the U-dogs have to scrap to retrieve the ball in the face of elven aggresion. Once they have the ball they make a critical error by leaving one side of their defensive box empty, preferring to attack rather than defend the ball. The Tossers didn’t need and further invitation and promptly blitzed the skaven ball carrier. The remainder of the half descended into a general melee around the loose ball with neither team managing to keep possession long enough to structure an attack and the half ends 0-0. Although scores are even the U-dogs have got the better of the fight and the Tossers are only able to field 8 players for the second half kick off. However, the U-dog coach makes a second basic tactical mistake by rushing 4 players towards the High Elf Thrower who is standing alone on his own 2 yard line with the ball. The elf of course just casually flicks a Long Pass up field to his catcher before any of the blitzing players can reach him and the catcher has an easy run in to score. The U-dogs reply is cut off by some successful dodging and blitzing by the High Elf team and the game ends with the scores at 1-0.

Reviewing this game I am highly annoyed at myself – I made 2 or 3 massive and obvious blunders that led to my ball carrier being sacked twice and the Tossers TD. I enjoyed the game but I really should have done better.
