This was going reasonably well until a fluffed pass in the middle of the first half led to the guys losing possession. Even so, this needn't have been a catastrophe but I became a bit obsessed with getting the ball back rather than simply denying it to the Orcs. Pushing the boat out this way ultimately let the Orcs run in a TD at the end of the half, which in hindsight I think I could have made more difficult.

The second half was a great demonstration of the strengths of the Orc team, as the boys couldn't compete with their power game and I barely impeded the progress of the Orc cage up the centre of the field. (A very poor defensive set-up on my part didn't help much, though). Main takeaway: stop muscle teams getting possession!”
