“Things were close in the first half, each side scoring in 2 turns. However, after the score was 2-1 me, he amazingly missed a pass at the LOS, which was all I needed to make the score 3-1 at the half.
Second half came, and things kept going my way. Strip ball is such a wonderful skill! Very quickly it was 4-1, and my opponent was (understandably) becoming extremely frustrated. Then it happened, that time in a game where it just seems your team is doomed to failure. However, by some amazing happenstance, this didn't occur against my team, but rather against the elves. In a single turn after stealing the ball (again), I caused all 3 of my cas, apo negating the rip. But in his efforts to stop me, the elves tripped dodging in successive turns to the tune of an SI and another RIP. He begged me to leave him a team and just score, so I did, twice more.
I'm sure this wasn't nearly as much fun for Duckster as it was for me, but keep your chin up, these games will eventually happen for you, not to you. Believe me, I've been on the other side of the fence often enough to know...”
