“CIBBL Obsidian Chalice Game

Don Enrique was happy. He was sipping Jigoku Sake, the strange beverage that won his team the last game. Watching the highlights of the game was surreal.
His team met the pustulent squad of coach Aslak and for this special occasion he was offered two kegs of Jigoku Sake by the friendly locals. The brew was said to have magical abilities as it made normal villagers stay up for days when harvest came, giving them seemingly infinite stamina. What he was not told that first time you consume it you will probably pass out fast.

Great weather awaited the teams in Nippon, especially valuable as the last two games were played in rain and snow.
The Noblemen won the toss and opted to receive. Having consumed a large amount of sake they were uncoordinated, being easy prey to the Nurgle followers. Luckily most were just knocked out of the game. Their offense was weak and they soon lost the ball, after Bernardo rusged forward in a drunken attempt to score without any help, while yelling "Look at me, I am the greatest ever!!!". He was promptly knocked flat by a plagued beastman. In his drunken state he tought he can get the ball back, but he was stiff armed almost into eternal sleep by Aali Haytham Ahmad, an Arabyan convert of Nurgle. Luckily he could be saved by Doctor Carnicero. The first half ended 0-0, with half of the Estalian team knocked out.

In the half time break the CabalVision cameras caught Don Gabriel trying to drown his knocked out players in the kegs of sake in frustration, while howling rather imaginative blasphemies on the top of his lungs. Stangely instead of dying the players woke up and stormed the field with dim eyes and daemonic determination.

The second half was similar to the first, but this time the skae fuelled Estalians brutalized the worshippers of Father Nurgle. With dwindling numbers they tried to run through the Noblemen defense, but were stopped. The Noblemen secured the ball and using their numbers and the bad position of coach Aslak's team they scored just before the end of the game.

Noblemen Play of the Game: Carlos Dosdaga fracturing the skull of Venomfiend Rendpox with the help of Sancho and Agapito. The crack could be heard all over the stadium. The fiend's skull however was healed, thanks to the blessing of Nurgle and it now sports an ever oozing wound on it's head as a reminder.
