“What a game folks! The Runners recieved the kick-off and while Rat-Ogre Mignolo blitzes Gutter Runner Gutz made a classical one turner. The Bears and their fans where shocked and could not believe that their team was already behind, while they hardly had entered the pitch or taken seat.
Their offensive drive was plagued by unlucky blocks and overturns at most inconvinient moments but they still managed to score late in the first half.
The Runners lined up again for their classical right hook strike: Blitz! by Mignolo and Gutz made it all the way from the line of scrimmage towards the Bear's Endzone. Just a few yards for him to score when - all of the sudden, he tripped over something (obviously trip-wire positioned by Francz Glaszenko) kOing him instanly. Just as the Bears got the ball and organized their offensive play, the first half ended as the Ref blew his whistle.
Second Half: The Bears now had all chances to win as their recieved the kick off. Unfortunately their offensive play was plagued again and the Runners made good profit of it, getting in ball possession and scoring in the Bear's drive. The Kislevites had just one small chance not to loose the game and this time they managed to execute an excellent play scoring late in the second half. Now the Runners deployed again, ready to score the winning TD in the last seconds of the game in the old fashioned manner. Nothing could save the Bears now, no tripwire available nor could the Ref finish the game as he was forced to eat his whistle in the halftime.
Kick Off aaaaaaaaand Blitz! Quickly the Bears overwhelmed the stunned Runners, killing their heavily mutated Star Stormvermin and surrounding the ball with half of their team. Scratcheez made a desperate last ditch attempt to get the ball, but to many fists, legs and boots of the defending Bears prevented it.
Thus a very challenging game ended in a draw. ”
