“I would have felt very dirty if the final play would have succeeded. There were 2 GFIs that did nothing but turn the red 6+ marker into a yellow 6 marker, so basically just flirting with disaster. The pass ended up being inaccurate and into the stands, right behind the pest sitting in the end zone. But considering it was a game that I really did not feel I had a chance after the 1st half, Nuffle showed me that anything is possible. The 1/9 KO rolls mitigated by a 5+, 5+, 4+, 2+, 2+ sequence that had me holding my breath. Fun game and I award Xeterog 2 Rivalry Points.

Defense fails the Raiders in the 2nd half and the Dwarves barely escape with a tie
1st half was a bit back and forth, until Campbell was able to break past the LOS and get away from all pursuers for the TD. Not enough time was left on the clock for St. Paul to score before the halftime break.
2nd half, it was 11 Zhar Naggarund players vs only 6 Apostles at the kick off (4 KO, 1 sent off), but the Raider defense failed in a big way and gave up the TD, leaving not much time to try and score the winning TD. Campbell couldn't pick up the ball at 1st, then as time was expiring, St. Paul made a heroic attempt to score that only failed right at the end of the play (watch the replay..this was one almost amazing play! Agility 2, dodge in a TZ, pick up ball in a TZ, Dodge, gfi, short (or was it long) pass, and failed catch in the EZ by agility 3 is the way I remember it)
ugh
no new skills.
Amazing that between the 2 teams, only one casualty was caused..but many, many players spent significant time in the infirmary with headaches.... ”
