“This match started well for us, scoring in turn 2 and getting two RIP cas (both regen) in the first 3 or 4 turns. However, after he scored is when things went downhill fast. My thrower fumbled the pickup, with all potential help already downfield. Thus, it was an easy matter for the necros to steal the ball away and score in turn 7, leaving me not enough time to score back.

Second half, he gets the kickoff, scores easily. Ensuing kickoff, it all goes to hades. He blitzes, and in the next two turns gets 4 cas AND the ball and, shortly thereafter, a 4-1 lead. It was only through a failed 2d block that I was able to score my second time.

The loss was humbling (something had to bring me down from cloud nine after my last game), but there were no lasting injuries, my 4th blitzer is back for next game, no lost fans and two new skills. I guess even in defeat there can be good.

But I'd rather have the good AND win! ;-) Rematch is in the stars...”
