Poseidons smiles came in waves as he recalled the look of shock on the little ones faces as he called down a torrential rainstorm. Every time Duvel slipped over trying to get a Pass Block going he had another chuckle to himself. It almost wasn't fair to do do these things to the mortals.
Hades and Apollo were in high spirits as well...their little prank in the stands before the game led to a 3 turn riot . The distraction was enough for them to unleash a couple of monster hits each which sent 2 dwarves off BH and set up an open corridor for Zeus to run through.
And run he did...2 passes went astray but replays suggest it thay were dropped on purpose to give the King of the Gods the confidence to regather the ball and score his first TD of the season. 1-0 at the half.
Awesome shuffle work in the 2nd half by the Blitzers saw them shut down the Bellys cage at the last possible moment...and Hera, like her husband/brother, picked up the ball and scampered down the field to seal the win with another score.
