“A good jinxing run from Balin in the first half set up Bombur(eventually) to go over in the 8th turn. The weather was not helping, and Balin took 3 attempts to pick the ball up at the start of the second. Telchar and Bombur put in a good shift protecting Balin up the right flank, and the veteran Runner went over in the 4th to make it 2-0.
With the Blues needing two to tie and Dig Dug feeling confident in the lead, both teams started to try more and more outrageous plays. Defence took a back seat. A lucky interception prevented what would have been an outrageous 3rd for the Dwarves, but the fans appreciated the effort.

Player of the game: Balin had a good running game, and the pick up-blitz combo in the 6th(?) even drew praise from the opposition coach.
