In the second half we were down to 8 with Balin (KO) and Gamil Zirak (BH). NorthernGiants strung us out wide left before changing tack down the left and tying up the stragglers.
With 4 turns to go, they could have strolled over to make it 1-0 but, they feared a retaliatory strike, and consolidated their position at the end zone. T5 came and went with very little developments - we couldn't crack the seal, and they were happy to stall out for a turn 8 TD. So we fought dirty.
We beat up their ogre and started to foul the innards out of him. Worried for the safety of the BG they flocked to help him, leaving only one man to guard the ball carrier. With this we grabbed our chance, Bombur and Maxon blitzing the now open Larry. The ball scattered and Northern Giants, unable to secure the bouncing ball, will rue their missed chance.

We didn't deserve the draw but Dig Dug are a hard team to beat. Lordi, the opposition coach will think twice about stalling after this game.
