“This game was a complete anti-climax. Prior to the game we had hired a Deathroller and finding an opponent was proving particularly difficult. A general inquiry to anybody who was listening brought Coach_Lo and his Men of Titanus to us, and so battle commenced. Blitz. Deathroller out. One other KO'd. Good start. Turn one. Another Dwarf KO'd. And so on until at one point there were only 5 able-bodied Dwarves standing. Needless to say, it's almost impossible to mount any sort of offence in these conditions. Although my boys did themselves proud, we went into the break 1-0 down, and very much pissed off.
Second half started almost as the first had, with a blitz, an injury, and a KO. What followed was a procession of injuries as men lined up to be BH. If only we'd remembered the ball..... A rather lucky pass put Jaque out of reach and over for the 2nd. With Balin at the restart unable to pick up the ball, all hope of a draw left us.

Not quite a waste of time for us, because 17 SPP is not a bad haul, but not the result we wanted.
