“The team has hit another milestone. Today we scored three TD in a single match for the first time. It's only taken 35 attempts.... Shame about the manner in which it came. 7 injuries, of which 5 were in the closing stages, cut short the Low Crawlers efforts and, in the end, it was a comfortable win. Thrór came through his first match with merit, after replacing the retired Balin, and we look forward to his continued progress.
The game hinged on the blitz at the start of the second half which put the Low Crawlers on the back foot. They were never able to recover, with the body count effectively halting any form of positive action.
The 3rd TD came after the opposition had given up hope, but it took a three dwarf co-ordinated effort to bring about; Maxon moved into the end zone, Bombur blitzed the opposition defender, and Thrór ran and passed to Maxon. Very nice.

Player of the game: Bombur was immense, with two casualties and a TD to his name. He even managed to injure 2 players in one block when he knocked a player off-pitch with the prone dwarf.

Play of the game: The last turn, three man TD combo was rather nice.”
