“They were few, very few. No team had ever wanted to play King Duran and his mates without at least a few reserves.
This ought to be a day in the mine, the dwarves thought. What a mistake. After a good drive Biggles managed to score, but the game was fought on the midfield with guards everywhere.
After that, it was back to the stalemate in the middle. And next half, the same again. They were fewer, so we shouldve scored more. The coach was though a lot better than me, so he managed to see spots I had never discovered.
It was a good game, but we only got 10k, so I guess we could buy us a new coach, to get our dwarves into that scoring thingie.”
“Well.... considering that this was effectively sink or swim for Dig Dug, everything except the result went perfectly. Without any Slayers, down to ten, it was always going to be hard, so to keep the result to 1-0 was a good performance. We even threatened on occasion.... :-)
Other than that, our FF went up.... and we earned enough to buy a new Slayer!
Player of the game: Thrór played well; in a game dominated by guard and block he had neither!”
