#4 Fernando Dengold – Head Injury (-AV) #8 Adelaide Hogon – Dead (RIP) #13 Maximus Esele – Seriously Hurt (MNG)
“What a weird game ogre mirror matches are.
I had to kick and got a blotz. I managed a successful TTM to go right under the ball. He tried to get his snot to the ball who then rush failed,1/9 and killed himself. I crowded the ball with snots and an ogre and things were looking up. But along came this fouling snot> he fouled every turn in the first half, injured one ogre and KOd another - never got caught. I tried hunting him in the second half just because it felt like one of those fumbbl games where fouling auto works. But thats my own superstition. I had some light salt about it but apoligized during the match. After fumbbling around, and some unsuccessful blocks on his ball carrier, he scored.
I had a chance for an OTTD AAAAnd perfect defense. Plus an ogre didnt come back from KO. I tried a kick and it deviated 6 squares diagonal back onto another snotling of my own.
Second half looked abysmal. A deep kick and down an ogre. perfect Defense again. I didnt have any issues picking up the ball which was nice. We exchanged turns failing things, him more than I this half. I made an ill-advised sideline cage and he filled in the holes. He was a rish away form surfing the carrier and rush failed. I then tried to do the same thing, which would have freed the carrier. Bd/skull RR skull/skull. He surfed the carrier but the throw in was in my favor. I managed to pick it up and score.
Takeaways:
- I know I cannot use a sideline cage with opposing snotlings. I dont know why I did it - i gotta not do that next time.
- 3 RRs and a leader seems heavy but I feel its necessary.
- Opp ad upgraded snots and I refused to upgrade my own. I think I like my decision EXCEPT if I ever get enough to choose a secondary im getting a DP snot.
Opp was great, would def play again. ”
