“A very frustrating loss. But such is life in fumbbl.
First half I had to kick. I sacked the ball carrier kinda early and tagged the ball. I didn't tage his players until this which Im still pretty happy with as a decision. Once his goblin got the ball back, he took it downfield. I had one safety, but I should have maybe kept another in the back. I blocked his ball carrier down when he tried to stall and had my chamo skink on the ball in the EZ. But this guy doesn't fail dodges like I do and scored with a pick up in the EZ.
Second half, because I murdered the troll, it was easier to bully around the rest of the blorks. I was patient while I waited for attrition and positioning. I made an error in my offense, maybe should have waited for another turn. But it worked out as my oopp single die block RR failed. I scored on my T6.
T7-8 my opp makes every roll. I need him to fail something, and where nuffle can taketh, nuflle can giveth. Pick up, rush, hand off in the rain, more rushes. T8 handoff in the rain to a guy in a TZ, dodge, 2 rushes scores.
I try a OTTD and im in a position to do it BUT flubbed the pick up in the rain.
Takeaways:
- I could have stalled for a draw. And with how badly these lizards have done, I probably should have. But I figured im up players and its raining, and hes only got 1 RR. Theres a good possibility of a 2 turn Td when he fails something. But he never does. I played the odds there, but like in any casino, I couldve just walked away breaking even and decided not to.
- My dodge fails were 3 in a row on very critical defensive plays. There is no "should have" in this game, but sometimes it feels that way.
- I continue the fine tradition of failing more rushes than my opp. Opp rushes 13/13, me 2/3
- I don't like my offensive decision to move forward when I did. one push couldve ended it all. I need to watch for that more. ”
