“Back to winning ways then, but not without a little bit of Telchar magic! The old boy again passed the niggle roll, and put in another sterling performance with 2 casualties. The team has inflicted 12 casualties in the last 2 matches - a significant increase on our average.
It all started so badly though, with Óin only saved from death by the Apo, and a early TD by the rampant Orcs. At the restart we levelled the scores in more ways than one. Spike II needed the help of the Reventadores de Apo, and with no safety net for the Orcs, they started to fall like flies.
In the second half we attempted to force our way down both flanks, probing the defence for any chinks. Only the onset of more injuries gave us the holes we needed, and Gimli scampered over for our 2nd. With only 8 Orcs available, and only 3 turns, ROCCO-MAN struggled to rally his team, and it ended 2-1.
Only 3 more games until Dig Dug beat the record!
Player of the game: Telchar did well creating space on the park, but Gimli scored the all-important TD's.”
