“Back to our team norm...winning big on the scoreboard, getting clobbered in the arms race. First three turns, he ko'd 5 rats and sent my RO crowdsurfing. He had so much fun, it may be a game or two before he returns to playing!

Ensuing drive, we have the opportunity to score, but a botched pass allows him to scoop up the ball and begin to drive the other way. However, at this time Sai, my horned/dauntless gutter, really began to prove his worth to the team. Dodging tacklers left and right, he gfi blitzed the ball-handling blitzer, knocked him to the ground, and sent the ball soaring into the stands, which then threw it out near a prone linerat. He manages to dodge away as well, scoop it up, throw upfield to...my thrower! Waltz in for a touchdown as first half time expires, 1-1.

Second half I score in typical skaven fashion...fast! He gets greedy with his blocks before securing the ball, allowing me to send multiple rats into his backfield and threaten (unfortunately for me, it was too far out for me to reach direct). He cages up, and again, Sai proves his mettle! Blitzing into the cage all by himself, he sends the thrower on his rump, ball scattering out to where my thrower can pick it up and pass to an open linerat. Score 3-1.

Last gasp effort for the humans, and one more time, Sai steals the show (and the ball) for the skaven! I am truly starting to love this guy!

The bad news for the team was how hard the humans pounded us into the turf. Besides the MNG RO, he also gave us twin niggles on linerats, to nary a cas in return. The best we could accomplish was a couple ko's to his str 4 linemen. But it was only a one-skill linerat lost, and two new skills and a third gutter gained, so we'll call this a good game.
