Luck meter readings are out due to the server dropping us late in the second half and we had to reload with only 3 turns left in the game.

It was a silly but funny game. The Hippies scored early, but lost two players who tripped over their own feet when they tried to run too fast!

At 1-1 in the first half against only 6 players, the Falcons were on the receiving end of some horrid luck. Firstly, their ball carrier was flattened by the Hippiies' Catcher (two dice, I choose and he rolled double pow!) and then when the Falcons recovered the ball, they batted it around and dropped it (a 1 to pick up reroll) then a 1 on a handoff) allowing the Hippies to take the lead.

In the second half, the Falcons had another poor display of ball handling when they again took needless risks against a depleted Hippies lineup and lost the ball again to fall 1-3 behind.

The Hippies were in control until they also were clumsy with the ball (1 to pick up, then 1 to catch) allowing the Falcons to pressure them hard with the score at 2-3. The Hippies got the ball up to the Line of Scrimmage but then lost it after tripping over yet again. The Falcons were able to scoop up the ball and score a face saving drawing TD.

The Hippies were unable to score in the last minute of the game (they triied to set up a chain pushback 1 turn TD with their catcher with sprint).

It was a fun game. I did one casualty only and I eased off the pedal big time when my opponent used his apoth on his Wardancer who niggled himself on a failed dodge. I also took some needless risks instead of playing safe and this let my opponent back into the game with two scores on me when I rolled the 1s that are bound to come sooner or later if you keep doing stuff that recquires dice rolls.

But that made it a more fun game in the end heh. I chose not to hit his Wardanceer with my Mighty Blow guy on turn 8 sd I didn't want more SPP but I did need that second cas for the +1 on the fan factor roll. Oh well.
