The Rat of God's story was an odd one. Late one night, the Coach was stoned on Hippy Weed, and got two of his rosters mixed up. While recruiting for the Hippies he hired a Gutter Runner, who turned up along with his friend Lucy (Hailing from the Sky of Diamonds). ROG, Lucy and the Hippies all got along famously until ROG's 50th game, in which he suffered a fractured skull. ROG has now been retired to the land of Cheese and Herb.
