“A very enjoyable match. Team was down to 11 players to start, and of course my niggled storm vermin decided to sit this game out, leaving 10. We did our best to stop him, but stuns and ko's were plentiful and we didn't have much chance to stop him from scoring quickly. Ensuing drive he stole the ball from me after a failed pass with agi 5 from midfield to the endzone, needing 4+ w/rr support, 75% chance of success, but not this game...he scored again, leaving only one turn and no OTS...

...or is there? A rather straight-forward OTS promotion became horribly complicated when I screwed it up, but was able luckily to knock the pusher back into position to continue. Watch how my OTS promotion commences, and see where you think I should have gone in the first place, where my mistake was, and how you would recover to continue the promotion. I must say, I'm rather impressed with my recovery! :-)

Second half was a straight forward skaven score, game tied 2-2. He tried like heck to give the ball back to me...three turns in a row he had a double-1...but the first time I was too far away to capitalize, the second time I had a double-1 of my own (blitzed the ball open fine, picked up in a tz fine, then double-1 on my dodge away to the endzone, badly hurting myself...oops...), and the third time was a failed dodge ko on his part. However, he was racking up several more ko's/cas before he finally scored, probably with the thought that he could stop my depleted numbers from scoring the equalizer.

True enough, 7 rats took to the pitch against 11 elves. Blitz open a small crack on the sidelines...squeeze two linerats and two gutters through...pick up the ball, kicked to the very corner of the endzone/sideline...and hope and pray about his retaliatory strike...

...stun one of my gutters, he's out of the drive (only one turn left)...surround my linerats with elves...place one more elf where multiple tz's would ensue on any dodges past...

...my str 4 linerat and tackle linerat work in concert to clear the air around my remaining gutter...strong arm thrower gets the ball to my guy despite a whale of a throw...and I dodge to freedom, right? Wrong! Why go around a guy when you can go through him? Dauntless/horns/claw does wonders for opening your own holes in route to the endzone!

Wonderful game, a deserved draw. Gained the services of our newest sucker, I mean linerat, and two skills w/o aging, including Sai, my uber-blitzer! May he continue his way towards legend status! CHARGE!!!”
