“My first game on FUMBBL turned out to be a good tight match with a helpful opponent. With neither team having an apothecary, there were 2 RIPs in the first 2 turns of the game. A lack of re-rolls really hurt the Wood Elves later in each half, in my opinion.

I went 1-0 up early, and then the Wood Elves came back at the last possible moment to equalize at the end of the first half through some very tight play. The second half was a constant back and forth with the ball changing hands at least 4 times. The game went in my favor in the end with a turn 8 touchdown.

Strangely enough, the MVP awards went to the dead player on each team. So after 1 match I have lost a player and 5 SPPs, which is a blow, but it was a fun match nonetheless.
