“Germany's finest came out of the blocks running against their first opponents, the Colorado Avalanche. A messy game that ended with only one Wood Elf on the field, face down, the Vermin managed to squeak out a final turn touchdown to win 3-2. Hando was the rat on the spot, breaking a run of 10 games without any input to the team. Sadly, Colarado's Chris Gratton died as a result of a block from Graf Zeppelin.
