“I agree its not over untill the fat lady sings. I saw how frustrated you got at nuffle rolling my dice those last few turns. So I am sure you can understand what I was going through the first half. Failing go for its and getting BH because of it. Rolling 9 block dice and the line rat still standing!
I know how bad it feels to loose really good players too. I failed a leap with my AG5 dark elf blitzer with a re-roll and then failed the apoth (death).
Working so hard to get my black orcs spp's so that they can age at 3rd and 4th skills.
We all just got to take the good with the bad. I hope there is more good then bad though. I am glad you are not going to hold a grudge, you are a fun coach to play. I hope you can get your revenage next time.

...but the game's 16 turns long, not 12, so don't complain to me until the fat lady sings...and she must've had a voice like a siren from mythology, luring sailors to their demise at her feet, because basically my team in the span of 3 turns went from strong and proud to almost non-existent. Literally, in three consecutive hits same turn, he got SI, then a niggle, then a crowd-push RIP. Next turn, he niggles another rat, kills my agi 5 SV. Next turn, he caps off with yet another MNG before finally scoring the winner as time expired. This on top of the foul-MNG from first half, which he felt justified after spending 15 dice trying to knock over a linerat and failing. "See? My luck sucks! I can't get him down! So I'll take it out on this guy here...." Amazed his further foul (after he'd already racked up 6 cas by this point to my 1) didn't occasion yet another cas.
In the morning, I will probably look back at this game and sigh, maybe chuckle a little bit at just how upset I got over it. Indeed, it is just a simple game, no reason to hold a grudge against somebody b/c of the dice of Nuffle.
But can anybody blame me if I threw out a few choice phrases which were not in my usual mild-mannered nature during those disastrous few turns?
Guess the fans decided to start leaving early, thinking the team will cease to exist. Well, for those die-hard faithful still with us (or simply not having had time yet to reach the door), we have a new mission in life!!! Hear ye, hear ye!!! Shinai will make it to legend status or die trying, and the rest of the team will get him there, or die trying! We managed to get Sai and his multiple niggles to legend status...Shinai has very, very quietly become an uninjured mega-star, always playing second-fiddle to others. No more! Shinai, now it's your turn to shine!
