There's just something about tentacles that the linerats on this team love...the third one to grow a set so far...far more stylish than boring old claws, don't you think? And who needs armor? All it does is slow you down...so get rid of it, and fly free and fast!
....and agile!
Who'd have thought that despite his reduced armor, Nunchaku would outlast nearly all his peers on the team in terms of team longevity! It was a sad day when he saw his valued partner Bokken III die while trying to deflect a pass. Now Nunchaku is the oldest member of the team, nearly triple the game total of the next oldest rat. He was a star linerat while most of these youngsters were just learning how to squeak! And yet these kids have already met and surpassed his ability and value to the team. Still, there's no substitute for experience, and all these whipper-snappers would do well to listen to the old salt's advice!
When 100 games old you reach, feel as young you will not. All that heavy armor gets really old after a while, and when you get older you care more about comfort and less about self protection. Thus he has taken to wearing only a fraction of his assigned armor...
Well, it took 112 games, but finally this disregard for wearing armor caught up to our hero when he got pushed into a crowd of rabid amazon fans, who ripped out his tentacles and used them to beat off the doc trying desperately to reach him. The amazons thought it was all in fun, but alas, we must say adieu to the greatest lineman ever fielded by me, on any team I've ever coached. You'll always have a special place in our hearts.
