“I had no sooner finished one game before Snappy issued a challenge to my rats, claiming to be the quickest draw in the game. Well, three consecutive blitzes and a 3-0 lead after 4 turns proved just who actually is the quicker...when he finally did get the ball moving forward, Nuffle cursed his blocking dice to only pushes and skulls, allowing me to free up the ball for a 4th score before halftime.

Second half is when things really got ugly, as now the cas started coming in as well. A blocking zombie got totally flattened by our rampaging RO (who only failed his WA roll once all game long, he was so pumped), so bad not even necromantic sorcery could revive him. A ghoul fell under the mighty blows of our SV, a rock badly hurt another zombie (failed regen) and a failed dodge MNG'd one of his wights (regen failed). His other wight got blasted (failed regen...do we notice a trend here?) by Nunchaku, totally out of the blue for a normally peaceful linerat. But that's just the sort of game it was...the ferociousness of Naginata the RO (who didn't age at 51 spp) inspired his teammates to jump the gun on kicks, perfectly align themselves to defend, steal the ball and score at will. It was just that type of a game, it was so lopsided it actually wasn't as much fun anymore, as I was empathizing too much with my opponent's misfortune.

Snappy, I'll be willing to have a rematch down the line...after you've put your team back together again. As things stand, the Weapon Masters will have a heck of a time locating a suitable opponent for our 100th match, as we've never been higher in TR (281) or TS (266) as we are now...”
