“The Juggernauts started in offence and scored using a strong cage. The Science and Violence had difficulties attacking the cage, and soon had two players injured and another 2 knocked out. The Juggernauts had one injured and one knocked out.
In the second half, both teams fielded 9 players as both of the knocked out Science and Violence players woke up, but the Juggernaut Chaos Dwarf did not!
The Juggernauts in defence managed to steal the ball about a third of a way into the second period, then made a foolish pass attempt that left the ball on the ground near their Bull Centaur Tzor Zagron. However, this did not stop the Science and Violence from picking up the ball and throwing it downfield!
A tense struggle for the ball ensued, and the Science and Violence had a chance to draw, but their ball carrier tried to dodge in the wrong direction and was knocked over ensuring a first up win for the Juggernauts.

How embarrassing. I was showing a new coach how to play, and thanks to a combination of unlucky rolls (his 2 KO guys coming back, and my single guy not) and stupid play (taking a throw when I didn't need to) I almost had a draw.
“A match whose scoreline represents the kindness of Chaos Dwarves -and who says that they do not have hearts :)
Despite some lucky rolls, dodgy tactics from myself made sure that there was going to be only one winner. There was a moment when a draw seemed possible in the final turn but "Eis Kalt" Einstein tried to show off-momentarily forgetting he wasn't in a Physics lab, but remembering all too soon as he tripped over condemming his side to defeat.
Thanks for the game Malthor, thanks for the lesson. In the words of Arnie "I'll be back"..... But only after a bit more practise :)”
