“The Iron Guards was finally bested in their twelfth match, very much due to the Escapees minotaur, Bargerath Bloodriver, who was quite unstoppable today. It certainly didn't help that troll slayer Raurinn "Skullpulper" missed the match due to niggling injuries either.
Despite the carnage and starting on the defensive the Iron Guards actually scored the only TD in the first half, but it was to no avail as there were only five battleworthy dwarves left for the second half...
“A small miscalculation and a lot of luck determined this game. The Iron Guard's defensive formation had one man out of position, and Bargerath ripped into it like the spear into Achilles's heel. After breaking through the formation, Bargerath was able to destroy the dwarven defense from the inside, causing a completely unnatural 4 badly hurts and 1 knock out in the first 5 turns. He also managed to avoid a trap or two, with some lucky pushbacks.
The Dwarves fought with honor until the end. It was a good game. I'm sure Indur's opponents will be hard pressed to defeat him, no matter the circumstances. Best wishes, Indur.”
