“57 blocks throwed for only 34, numeric superiority all game, and only little chances for him to make some good, but there he rolled d6 as blessed. 3-0 is my prize for a decent game, and he make more mistakes even during game. BB is a game of luck.”
“It looked really bad right from start, as I was loosing players left and right and was seriously outnumbered. However, I kept getting one dice blitzes on the ball carrier and finally got the ball loose. Thanks to some bad luck from ibar, he could never really recover the ball and we ended up advancing towards his endzone. On turn 7 I failed the first of my two GFIs to score (blizzard, no rerolls). He got the ball with his blitzer but didn't try throwing the ball away from my players, which is what I would have done. On my next turn, I managed a GFI for an assist, a 2d blitz rerolled to get the ball carrier down, 3+ pick up and another 3+ to score.
Next half I was receving and the weather turned to rain. My troll (who was knocked out the whole first half) shines by knocking himself down, which turned out to mess up my drive. Maybe I shouldn't have tried that block, but I figured I was safe with a 3 dice block.
Anyway, more carnage followed, with his DP being in top form and mine getting seriously injured. My only strategy was getting the ball as far away as possible, thus throwing it to an empty square close to his end zone. As he didn't have any players close, he had to back pedal with his thrower from the LOS. Meanwhile, my brave little lino advanced the flank and resisted the two blitzers that were guarding him. He dodged away, blitzed the thrower down with 1 die, picked up the ball in rain and GFI'd to score 2-0.
The game was pretty much over at this point, but just to show off my black orc The Body made an interception in two tackle zones (still raining), dodged away, made a short pass in 1 TZ (pass blocker) and my brave lino Lies My Parent Told Me caught the ball and ran his second TD of the game.
All in all, this was a wierd game where I had all the luck in scoring while ibar had the luck in injuries. I don't know if I made more mistakes, but I do know that it was hard to play while being constantly outnumbered.”
