“Insane game!

It started poorly for the humans. Some miserable blocking followed up by a dead 15 SPP Lino, a Blitzer downed on a -2d block and then and Ogre as well (stunned on top of it) and the stunned catcher made me struggle for the 1st TD.

The Undead managed a fine TD themselves and I made ready to make a counter TD in 3 turns which apparently got easy as a Pitch Invasion stunned most of the opposing team and non of mine (including the two enemy Mummies). Unfortunately this was not to be - the Undead managed some great dodging, ended up man marking the Catcher with the ball a tackle Wight. I don't push back the wight with my 2d block (no RRs left) and the catcher then fails the following dodge.
I did however manage to foul a Mummy to the KO box where he remaines all game long.

2nd half commences and I get ready to defend. I manage to get the enemy ball carrier down and the ball ends up in a group of players from both teams. Following a a dodge out of and into a tackle zone where the ag 4 ghoul manages to pick up the ball and procede to dodge about 5 times through enemy tackle zones, GFI twice and pass the ball to an awating ghoul.

I get ready to score a quick TD. I hand off the ball to a catcher and then try to completely shield the way to the carrier only to make a 1,1 GFI.

A blockless ghoul dodges, blitzes and stuns the ball carrying catcher with a POW, the ball scatters way back into my field only in GFI range of my thrower (fortunately). After some blocking I manage to hand off to a blitzer the next turn who then runs out of reach - except for one Wight but fortunately a Ghoul tries to dodge through tackle zones and gets KO.

2 turns left.

What to do!?
I try some offensive defence and manage to get a 2d block and a POW on the ag. 4 ghoul, get the ball and pass it to my SSP 14, Guard Catcher (the dauntless got BH earlier after the guarder had been Niggled and apothed - yay!). The Undead have no RRs left, the ball is halfway into their half and only few players to even attempt to man mark the ball. The Break Tackle dodges, GFI and (fair enough really) knocks over the catcher. Then the ag 4 Ghoul dodges, Picks up the ball, dodges and pass to a ghoul who catches it - all without a RR available. The hand off to a ghoul in a TZ fails however. I'm desperate now. Now the ball is halfway into my half and there is only 1 turn left.

I make some blocking to make a free passing lane - doesn't really help but perhaps clears out a few 1,2 and 3s as well as killing a skill less zombie.

I then dodge with my str. 4 Lino and clear the ball of enemy TZs. Then I dodge with a Blitzer, pick up the ball and GFI once. Then a 4+ pass over the head of a heavily marked Wight (who just refused to go down earlier) to the ag. 4 Blitzer waiting who catches, GFI twice and scores!
