One of the original Rovers 11, his career has been blighted by injury, but he has sworn to play on to the death. Which, given the fate of so many other players, may come sooner than he expects. Certainly played in more games than a double-niggler could expect to, but finally met his end against another team of woodies. Most famously stood up to a rat ogre for an entire game without ever flinching. He will be missed.
