Before the teams' <a href="http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=match&id=1848274">16th game</a> Microphthalmia only had 15 earned SPPs and desperately needed skilling up to be able to support the team. During the match against an evil Gnoblar team Micro was in full stride knocking down gnobbies all over the place scoring 4 CAS! A skill roll was entitled to him and he managed to roll a double! He had Block already gotten prior to the great inquisition of August 07 which placed severe restrictions on player training and such so a double was needed to take Tackle!
In a Brutal game vs <a href="http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=match&id=2021815">the Tenpole Mecca</a>, Microphthalmia managed to cause 2 CAS in the first block of the game, including one death! It didn't stop there as he went on to kill another rat and managed a total 4 CAS in that game! Only one infect victim joined the team though as the rats summoned some warped winds causing data to be lost ingame.
Age started to creep up on Micro as his 5th skill throw meant he gained Break Tackle but also some permanently stiffened limbs. Only time will tell what the long term effects of this will be.
