Tragically, Danielle was killed in the third game of the season 2. It was the first death suffered by the Jayhawks and it came at the hand of the University of Hawaii. Coach Musson filed a greivance with the NCBB that Hawaii's Lion Warrior, Justin Colbert's block was a dirty blow, but the judges agreed the block was legal. "Oh well," said Musson, "We'll just clone him again."
Manning had a brilliant pre-season emerging as the Jayhawks' fastest player and strongest arm. We all missed her... until her clone was made.
