Ground and Iron have an AMAZING gym.
Glint Ironarm (and it fits the name) becomes the third original player of the Ground and Iron team (the first team Lomack ever coached and his 'main' team) to +1ST. Investigation into these pumped up muscle-dwarves' training regime has revealed a state of the art gym donated by a rich dwarven clan. The identity of the secret patron remains as yet unknown..
Gym features include:
Pile of rocks (lifting)
Rusty iron gates (pulling)
Mine carts (pushing)
and a copy of the theme tune to Rocky 3.
reached star player on 3 Nov 08. Delusions of real grandeur see Glint taking Break Tackle ;)
SuperStar reached 21 Dec 08. Break tackle actually working a treat ;) Pro taken.
Claimed the skull of a Suarus blodger (

Then this happened in this game:

Blitz on ball carrier - Dodge - 2+ using Break Tackle, made. 2 Gfis needed to get the block on ball carrier - 1st GFI - FAIL - Pro Re-roll- FAILED PRO ROLL - Armour Roll - BROKE ARMOUR - Injury roll - RIP - Apothecary - FAIL.
Why didn't I use a Team Re-roll on the gfi - because I'd just used it rerolling a 2D block trying to get a POW with my Piling on Longbeard - and didn't get a POW anyway. now that's got to hurt. Perfect example of how NOT to coach ;)
Glints record of playing every game for Ground and Iron now ends. The Sorry says he's sorry.
