Lethargic Bloodsuckers

Originally a washed-up amateur wrestling team known as the Lethargic Groinkickers their shows were about as much fun to watch as the name suggests, the odd slapstick joke interrupting the otherwise very uneventful show evenings.
Onlookers coming into the small arena not yet sure of what awaited them often mistook the stage for an additional area for lounging around.
There were reoccuring instances of these new, unsuspecting onlookers setting foot onto the stage, which was the only point in the performance when the performers on stage would actually do their job.
Ill intent glaring in their eyes, the wrestlers would start to attack the poor helpless soul with every move out of the Book of dirty fighting, to the delight of every other soul in the room, most of which had this shin-kicking happen to them in the past.
These instances were the only parts of the show that were of actual substance and the only thing keeping the show alive, until the fateful night of their last show.

It was a dark and rainy night, the small arena full of onlookers sitting around small tables all around the stage in the dimly lit room. As the audience on such a night consisted only of regulars, the only two instances of actual fun that evening came from the beating up of two of the regulars, who lost the draw deciding who would sacrifice their well-being for the fun of the group.
But shortly after voices became louder in the audience to prepare a third draw, as the bloodlust and boredom of everyone in the room reached a new high point for the night, the squeaky old door of the "stink pit" swung open.

In the Door stood haggard and pale, seemingly middle aged man, wearing a set of torn up, ancient-looking yellow plate armor. The room went silent for a second, before the audience members pretended to be uninterested in this man and what he might do next. After he had asked for a place to sit, no one being able to determine the origin of his accent, the barkeeper handed him a spare stool and nudged him towards the slightly raised pedestal on which a couple of Brightly-colored figures slowly rolled around. As soon as he stepped on the stage, they had both his knees kicked in from behind and his head in a chokehold.
The audience cheered an screamed for a moment, before the eyes of the man began to glow bright red, and darkness spread out from his back like giant wings and everyone in the room lost consciousness.
Ever since that day, the wrestlers of the Lethargic Groinkickers became the players for the Count's team the Lethargic Bloodsuckers, and are soon going to start their first league season under a new, unexperienced coach, as the count can't be bothered to do anything for his hated underlings apart from taking his cut of the possible winnings.
