The Foul-weather Jacks weren't always a Blood Bowl team. They were a rough and tumble group of some of the toughest pirates to ever terrorize the coast. After the untimely demise of their captain, Horratio McAllister, they set out on a path of vengeance to find his murderer and return the favor. With their ship sitting at the bottom of the sea and not even two copper pieces to rub together, they became thugs for hire on the streets of Altdorf. There, their reputation for giving people "the business" was spreading rapidly. One day they were chasing a bounty when he ducked into a Blood Bowl stadium. In the process of trying to capture him, they beat up both teams and most of the fans. They were quickly signed to a contract by one of the coaches and began their Blood Bowl career. They're not in it for the adulation of the fans or the high-life, but the pay is regular and the traveling allows them to continue their search for their captain's killer. All this time on land has made them "soft" according to thrower, Dead-eye Dick, and the sooner they finish thier quest and get back on a boat, the better. Until then, their fans can expect a bloody, good time at their games. Yar. |
