| After the original Steelhelm Bashers team was retired by the Steelhelm clan elders in disgust over their being thrashed by a human team, the Steelhelm family decided that it was time to field a new Blood Bowl team. And so, the New Bashers were organized with an all new line-up (all the original Bashers having been shipped off to join the Steelhelm clan's army or to become deep tappers in the mines). Can the New Bashers make it in the highly competitive field? Can their coaches get it together and come up with a way to win? Can their players figure out how to smash their opponents into the turf, for a change? Only time will tell! Although in their first game, the New Bashers were looking despondently like the team they had been set up to replace, in their second game they did their jobs, and forced a concession from the opposing team. Perhaps this is a turn of the corner for the Steelhelm family Blood Bowl franchise. After fifeen games, the Steelhelm New Bashers are looking pretty poor, with a 4-1-10 record. The Steelhelm family patriarchs are at a loss as to how to turn things around, but they shall try anyway. |
