The Nuln Anvils played a few games with the big boys now. Their all new 100,000 seater stadium was getting used to the feeling of bums on seats. Then: disaster! Over the course of three brutal games, six players were shredded - newcomer after newcomer were drafted in to replace the dead, and each one was torn to pieces in turn. Now, beaten and battered, despite the loss of the most recent recruit, Wayne Granger, they've vowed to carry on. Why? (Because they're mad?) No! Because they know that in order for a sword to become strong, it must be hammered many times before finally acquiring greatness.
