The Chilly Chimps didn't start their career as a pro Blood Bowl team. No they started life as an Arctic Monkeys cover band. This is the tale of how they ended up playing Blood Bowl.....

Having been Blood Bowl fans from a young age the boys thought they would give back to the game. They first started playing down and out back water stadiums, the first of which they were chased from and nearly killed!! After many years of hardship, getting Bloodwieser and worse thrown at them, they finally hit the big time. In the year 2409 they got their big break playing a major tournament in the Stadium of Fire. This is one of the oldest stadiums still standing, and is famed for its museum and mausoleum of all things Blood Bowl. It has in its vaults the corpses of some of the finest Blood Bowl stars to ever grace the pitch, as well as some of the most ardent fans.

So on the night of the gig everything went perfectly, it was a sell out and the crowd were on fire (some of them quite literally.). after they had finished the main event they left the stage, all they could here was the crowd baying for an encore. Being the fan pleasers that they are, they went back out thinking they would give the crowd something they would never forget. They crancked the amps all the way up to eleven and rocked out as hard as they could. now to say the music was loud enough to raise the dead would be fairly acurate, before they had finished the first song of the encore bodies started erupting from the depths of the Mausoleum. before anybody knew what was happening, bodies animated by music started wreaking havok in the stands and slaughtering the crowd. soon all that was left was the band, realising what was about to go down they thought they'd go down guns blazing. guitars in hand they charged the undead horde playing as loud as they could!!

This brings us to the present day where the Chilly Chimps are now a Blood Bowl team made up of ex players, and ex musicians reanimated by music. All the opponents can here from the players is the sound of songs from the Arctic Monkeys.

In the first two games the music was just too much for the opponents, both of wich gave up an offering to swell the zombie ranks of the Chilly Chimps.
