Well, it was fun while it lasted, but after 40 games I'm afraid the Natural Hazzards are going to hang up their cleats and go back to nature to live out their existence peacefully (or not, as their natures dictate). Injuries were part of the decision, as was insanely bad luck the last few games. But I think largely it's from a perspective of enjoyment--I just don't enjoy playing them anymore. Every game the last 20 I've been undermanned to begin the game, and almost invariably it got worse. Sure, I've won a game here or there, but the fans have left at ridiculous rates, never to return, meaning it's near impossible to replace players fast enough to keep up with losses. There's only so many times you can set up 4 players on the pitch against 11 before you say enough already, let me start over with a fresh team. So while I'll be saying goodbye to some memorable characters--my first ever player with a stat of 5 or better (agi 6 lets you do some amazing things), Tornado (without me even realizing it, he's become #3 on the <a href="http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=stats&op=top10&status=0&division=0&race=15&position=2691&prev=0-15">all-time top 10 list</a> for most cas by a woodelf thrower, #1 of active woodelf throwers), and all the rest. Rest easy, boys, and recover, because you never know when I might call again upon the power of nature to overtake the Bloodbowl pitch...
