[S] Snotling

The Snots Against Punting Zociety (or better known as S.A.P.Z.) is a bit of an oddity in the old world. A splinter group of the somewhat successful Goblin Revolutionary Committee (G.R.C.), S.A.P.Z. seeks recognition for all that they do for their greenskin brethren (usually summarized as chattering loudly and smearing squig feces on everything.) They are led by Club President Plink, a bewitched snotling with the IQ of a goblin warboss. Seeing how the world is completely focused on Blood Bowl, he has decreed that the only way to spread S.A.P.Z. message, is to put themselves into the game and into the eyes of the public. They manage this, by usually sabotaging one of the teams that will participate in a nearby game; usually through planting buzzer squigs, itchy mushrooms and retching into the teams Kroxiade barrel. Thus, when the other team shows up, thinking that they will be facing the Darkside Cowboys, they instead find the field (and stands) teeming with Snotlings! Though, on the whole, this doesn't seem to bother them as this means it's a free win, and a free meal to boot! And likewise, Plink and his gang of malcontents don't care either way, as they lose themselves in the joy of spreading their message (ie, chattering loudly and smearing squig feces on the pitch.) One cannot say they haven't garnered any notice though, as a fan club has sprung up, seemingly popping out of nowhere to support these teeny tiny underdogs. And even if you don't wear the snot green fan jersey and Snotling shaped hat, everyone can agree that watching these S.A.P.Z. play is a real hoot! And even after being ejected from the NAF approved games, the S.A.P.Z. have found a new home in the stunty leeg! And with two wins and a tie under their non-existent belts, they might be able to make a name for themselves! |
