Immortal Leader: King Phar Head Coach: Khod-el-Fis Race: Mahrak Everliving Team Colours: Eerie & Gold Team motto: عظام شفاء أقوى CHARNEL VALLEY OUROBOROS Mahrak, City of Hope, stood firm under the reign of King Phar from the oppression of Settra the Imperishable. With access to near infinite riches from abundant seams of gold under the city, Mahrak prospered and it's citizens were able to enjoy the trapping of wealth. Isolationist by nature, and nearly invisible to the rest of the world, this wealth meant the arts, sport and culture thrived. Mahrak, largely shielded from outside influences by the Charnel Valley, served as the home of the priest council of Nehekara and was haven for theocratic debate. This gnosticism lead to many debates and one whispered idea was that of Ouroboros; the cyclical nature of life, death and rebirth. After Nagash's Great Ritual nearly all of Nehekara fell and Mahrak quickly became known as the City of Decay. When King Phar and most of the population rose up in skeletal form they began to shuffle and creak around enacting the tasks they undertook before death. Still instinctively drawn to the gilded glow, former metalworkers now stumble into molten pools of gold. Former professional sportsmen continue to clumsily chase a ball around a field. The elite Jackal Squadron stalk around the valley hunting trespassers brave enough to approach the city. Somewhere deep down in the dead psyche, Ouroboros has taken on greater importance. The cyclical nature of resurrection has been realised literally. On instinct, former priest Khod-el-Fis has banded together a group of former citizens to form a Blood Bowl team. Now with no need for the great riches of the city, the team is driven purely by the innate need to demonstrate Ouroboros to all heretics around the world! Seasons Y5 - Autumn - Youngblood 3rd (3-2-1) Ouroboros score = 0 Pleasing first season in terms of results, only firmly beaten by the Earth Elemental Stand Firm nightmare. Primary goal was team development so getting the full quota of Golden Hosts was great and can't complain about a St4 Blitz-Ra. Nobody has yet been willing complete an Ouroboros cycle. Y6 - Winter - Low-Medium (2-1-1) Ouroboros score = 0 Very positive Winter. Gained 52SSP and 5 skills. No perms or deaths. 220k raised allowing another RR and still maintaining a reasonable backup fund. Priority is Block on Takhra. Y6 - Spring - Land of the Dead (0-1-3) Ouroboros score = 1 Apheb Hethat First game Takhra got his block, but otherwise it was a disaster - never has a AG2 bomber been so effective - 3 injuries from 4 bombs! After that just rank! Y6 - Summer - Weijin Grand Nobility Tourney (2-1-2) Ouroboros score = 1 Neshirkeosh Heqmut After a forgettable Spring, The Ouroboros had low expectations for summer but are delighted with the outcome. Fine Margins across all the games but a very solid placing in a tough, close group Players Selected from those who fell during Nagash's Great Ritual to continue the duty of defending the great city of Mahrak Development plan: Golden Hosts - Block/Guard, Stand Firm/Mighty Blow/Break Tackle Blitz-Ra - Guard/Mighty Blow, Tackle Jackals - Sure Hands, Block or Wrestle, Side Step, Fend Skeletons - Wrestle/Dirty Player, Tackle/Fend NSL template by Balle2000.
