From the city of Gobdon,the most famous city on the spinning disc, also known as 'The Smoke'.

The smoke is famous for its gangsters and their particular way of talking but what really sets them apart is their attachment to people with Squiq Farms:
"You're always gonna have problems lifting a body in one piece. Apparently the best thing to do is cut up a corpse into six pieces and pile it all together.

And when you got your six pieces, you gotta get rid of them, because it's no good leaving it in the deep freeze for your mum to discover, now is it? Then I hear the best thing to do is feed them to squigs. You got to starve the squigs for a few days, then the sight of a chopped-up body will look like curry to a pisshead.

You gotta shave the heads of your victims, and pull the teeth out for the sake of the squiggies' digestion. You could do this afterwards, of course, but you don't want to go sievin' through squig shit, now do you?

They will go through bone like butter. You need at least sixteen pigs to finish the job in one sitting, so be wary of any man who keeps a pig farm.

They will go through a body that weighs 200 pounds in about eight minutes. That means that a single squig can consume two pounds of uncooked flesh every minute. Hence the expression, "as greedy as a squig."


Now whilst Bricktop is goblin with a Squig farm, he's also a goblin that know some "entrepreneurs", one being the skinny one known as Tom; who has got a couple of dirty fingers in a couple of dirty pies. The more rotund one is Nick the Greek, he has however has made it his business to have all 20 fat fingers and toes in every dirty, bent and stolen pie in Gobdon. Between them, there ain't much you can't get hold of.

So when the three were looking at a way to launder their ill gotten gains, they decided that a nice and expensive bloodbowl team was just the racket they needed and so was born Bricktops Boisterous Butchers

Now the Butchers aim to go through the opposition like squigs go through the bodies they leave behind as they seek to win it all.

And the owners get a slice of a very lucrative pie.
