The Blood Blitzer's hail from the heights of the Mad Dog Pass in the Word's Edge Mountains. The team was formed after the Great Orc Chief Mysblak Shatterscream was informed by a captured trader that the Mad Dog Pass was known to the outside world as "Happy Fairy Trail". Shatterscream, upon hearing this bellowed a tremendous war cry and cut the poor human in half with his dinner knife (dinner that night was giant snake, so he needed a big dinner knife). "THIS IS AN OUTRAGE!!" he thundered, "We must make the paleskins fear the hordes of the Mad Dog Pass! We are not Happy Faries! We are angry, green, murderous sunnsabit**es and the world's gonna bloody know it!" So Shatterscream drew his trusted advisors to him and they plotted deep into early dawn. Travellers still say there is an odour of burnt earwax in the pass after this all night thinking binge. What came out of this strategizin was threefold: 1) Mandatory crucifiction of all pale-skins who travelled through the pass, 2) A declaration of war versus the Old World, and finally 3) The formation of the Mad Dog Pass Blood Blitzers. The Blood Blitzers, under the tutelage of coach Nerfic Bunnypuncher, were tasked with teaching the world to fear the orc tribes of the mountains, by savagely and utterly whipping the *censored* out of the civilized world's Bloodbowl teams and hopefully razing each town after the game.
