The Bludgeonin' Bruzerz have a history both sad and inspiring. This little team, hailing from the hills of....umm...Al...breck...ings...land, Albreckingsland. This little team, hailing from the hills of Albreckingsland, has put their all into every match, but nonetheless lost nearly every time without fail. No reason has been discovered for this, so the team stubbornly plays on. While not certain, a theory is that their poor show on the field comes from their hiring system. For you see, they hire based not on skill, or even money - they hire based on name. Due to a curious quirk, no player is ever hired for a position whose name does not almost, but not quite, match the name of his fellows. Of course, this is not as restrictive as one might think, as a name is rather easy to make up - as was the case with the nefarious Herbert "BiIliam" Jones. No one on the team ever questioned this, though one could say his uppance did, in fact, come, in the form of the Sons of Kul, who mercilessly slaughtered Jones on the field. No one on the team attended his funeral, since no one had ever heard of anyone named Herbert Jones. No reason has ever been given for this name quirk, as quite simply, no one wants to go up to a hulking Black Orc Blocker and ask him if he doesn't think the name Bobert isn't a tad silly. Indeed, their poor history has led them through some rough times - including a period of time where they changed their name to the Bludgeoned Bruzeez, due to just being fed up with it all - but nonetheless the team has stuck through and is, in the loosest use of the word, flourishing. The Bruzerz are winning, miraculously, nearly all of their games, though taking a severe beating in the process. They are currently at seven deaths, one game saw four KO's in the first four turns, and they just generally get the snot beaten out of them. Nonetheless, they ARE winning games, so the future looks bright.
