How to run the FUMBB...

The Tanith First Often referred to as the Tanith First-and-Only or more colloquially, they are called Gaunt's Ghosts, a name devised by Chief Sniper "Mad" Hlaine Larkin, prior to their first combat engagement. The Tanith First is the only surviving regiment of the three that were founded just prior to the fall of Tanith. The Tanith are unparalleled scouts, masters of stealth tactics, and excellent light infantry, and are said to possess an unerring sense of direction, traits necessary for survival on a planet where the forests actually move to conceal the path taken. The cape that is part of Tanith First standard kit enhances this stealth ability, camouflaging the trooper wearing it against virtually any surface, be it natural or man mage. The cap-pin is a silver double headed Imperial eagle with a scroll in its claws inscribed with “By the Grace of the God-Emperor of Terra". Their regiment emblem, which is usually gold, originally consisted of a skull and wreath laid over three daggers to symbolize the tree regiments that Tanith were contribute to the Sabbat Crusafe. Two of there daggers were latter snapped off in honor of the two regiments that didn't make it off Tanith alive. Regimental motto is "For Tanith, for the Emperor" Since their founding the Ghosts have been reinforced with recruitment on Verghast and have amalgamated with the 81st Belladon Recon to create the "Eighty-first First" during the time Colonel-Commissar Gaunt spent on the Chaos held world of Gereon.
