| The Tor Achare Lions were formed as a replacement for the Chrace White Tigers after a hippogriff attack that claimed the lives of six White Tigers players, most of the coaching staff, and two team executives. The region's Blood Bowl fans demanded a replacement, and the Lions were hastily cobbled together from the two remaining uninjured White Tigers, several players from the local semi-pro Blood Bowl leagues, a couple of ex-soldiers, and Rolathim "Rollo" Brightspark, a college Blood Bowl star. They may be less experienced than some of their opponents, but the Lions made a point of signing gifted natural athletes, in the hope of using that ability to catch up quickly. The plan was successful -- the Lions were at least respectable in their first season, and by the start of Season 2, they were an above-average team. |
