Dealing with a massi...

After messing around in the black box for a year, without much success, the Black Sunz decided to enter the FUMBBL B Minor MW XIII. From the moment they entered, things look to have turned around. Prep game - 2-0 Dauby, Realm´of´Nurgle (Nurgle) A very strong performance by the cdorfs, who beat up the nurgle, killing their +St pestigor, and holding off attack after attack. A great prep game, and ready for the tournament! Game One - 1-0 vs Rags, Waifs (Pro elf) Good controlling game by the Black Sunz, with strong denial play preventing the elves from scoring in the first half, and good injury dice in the second half sealing the win. Game Two - 2-0 vs Meatball20, Rebel Dwarf Scum (Chaos Dwarf) Good dirty player fouling, and guard advantage helped secure a strong 2-0 win. Bull centaurs spent most of the game chasing each other, while hobgoblins were carted off the field. I had purchased a mino before the game, as he had one, but after a strength break will probably have to fire him again. Game Three - 3-2 vs itzla, Balaton PiRates (Skaven) Bloody close game, where the cdorfs go behind early due to rain and ag5 skaven. We manage to push up the field and get the equaliser. Second half we pressure well, so rats score early, but then they blitz, and things look really bad. However, manage to hold them off, and tense final movements work our way as we get the equaliser again. Then extra time and rats receive. However, they are now down players, fail a handoff, and then it's a piece of cake to take them off the field and get the win. Game Four - 2-1 vs Zabriskie69, Undead Can Dance Alone (Undead) Crazy game! First half was a by the book stall out, with scoring on turn 8. I was significantly helped by managing to foul a mummy off the field in turn 2. Second half things start well for me, with the dirty play hobgob taking a mummy off the field again (both managed to regen unfortunately), but then I pressure the ball, but can't get a POW in 10!?! attempts, damn. He dodges away and scores. I receive with 3 turns to go, but sure enough I go heavy one side, ball lands on other side and blitz! He catches the kickoff, but I manage a POW first time, grab the loose ball, and then manage to scamper off for the win! Phew! Game Five - 0-1 vs horekim, Dwarven Dreadnoughts (Dwarves) What a shame. After that amazing run, and then a sad loss in the final. The dwarves received, and the Black Sunz played great defence, never giving them a breakthrough, and getting into the half 0-0. Second half was a disaster. The dwarves overwhelming guard, and the early KO of a bull centaur, left the ball carrier running around, and eventually he got caught by some sprinting runners who took the ball from him. He almost retrieved it, but a failed dodge, a successful dodge by the dwarves, and it was all over. 2 turn score was attempted, but re-roll used on pick up, and failed handover left the fate sealed.
