Ladysoft Facial Cream brought in as a sponsor (2020-10-11)
A loosing streak left a gaping hole in the team's treasury. Sorgath needed to do something about it, fast. With the owners absent, he spent all weekend himself trying to land a sponsorship. He wanted to find something to go with the hardcore image of a Chaos team. But these kind of sponsorship negotiations weren't exactly Sorgath's thing. Thinking back, it was his lack of negotiation skills that landed him with a Blood Bowl team instead of an army in the first place. Eventually he had to close a deal with the only partner actually willing to get aboard. And that's how Ladysoft Facial Cream became the first sponsor of Sorgath's Chosen.

Alzary, the Breaker of Will comes to Sorgath's aid (2020-10-11)
Alzary was an old friend of Sorgath. He had saved her life on more than one occasion. When she heard of his defeat and humiliation in the Old World she immediately rushed to his aid. She knew nothing of Blood Bowl, but given the position Sorgath was in, se was determined to learn it so that she could help him restore his reputation.

Nurgle daemon apothecary Typhus joins the team (2020-10-11)
Sorgath still remembers the loss of The Spawn of Fort Arkheil two games back. He had always viewed his champions as indestructible warriors. He had forgotten that they were no longer favored by the Dark Lords. Maybe it would be a good thing to hire an apothecary? It turned out to be quite hard to find an apothecary that would agree to work on walking, talking incarnations of evil. Finally, Sorgath had to settle for an old, slightly deranged Nurgle daemon called Typhus and his two helpers: Kirri the Wicked and Dr Tomas. Typhus is (among other things) able to bring fallen players back from the dead, according to his resumé. Sorgath had his doubts...

The Spawn of Fort Arkheil has his head smashed in by an ogre (2020-10-10)
In the third game, the Spawn of Fort Arkheil distracted a huge, angry ogre while Keylax sprinted for the end zone to turn a defeat into a tied game. He was successful in distracting the ogre, in a sense. However, the ogre smashed his head in in the process. May the Dark Lords feast on the soul of He who bears no name.

Sorgath offers a position on the team - to a fan! (2020-10-10)
A fan by the name of Risha watched the team from the audience as they scored their first two victories. Being a long time fan of football, it was obvious to Risha that this team was not made up of football players. She approached the head coach after the game to congratulate him. He had a wounded player that he needed to replace so he offered her a position on the team!
Background
The son of Wrath
Sorgath, the Son of Wrath, crossed the Shadowlands south to lay waste to the Men and Elves of the Old World. With him, a horde of beastial men, fearsome warriors and twisted daemons. His hordes of Chaos ravaged the lands and spilled much blood. The Dark Lords were pleased with Sorgath. He felt the corrupting powers flowing through his body, giving him unnatural strength.

He got word that the Elves had gathered an army in what would surely be a feeble attempt to stop Sorgath's campaign. A few days later they faced the elves. There it stood across the battlefield, led by Prince Elavenduil himself. This was the day that the elven prince would feel the wrath of Sorgath!

The secret alliance
But the Elves had him outwitted that day. They had brokered a secret alliance. In a surprise attack midst battle, an army of Men had flanked the forces of Chaos. They were sandwiched between Men and Elves and slaughtered like sheep! Sorgath and a few of his champions managed to escape. The Dark Lords were equally unimpressed with the defeat as with the cowardice of Sorgath and his champions. The powers they had once granted to Sorgath were suddenly gone. He was no longer in ther favor. Sorgath felt feeble. He was dying. He could feel it.

Bargaining with the Dark Lords
Sorgath asked the Dark Lords to grant him a new army to finish what he had started. To prove his true worth. He had no wish to die. He wanted back the powers he had once had. But his request was not granted. Instead, the Dark Lords demanded he chose the best of his remaining cowards champions and form a team to compete in tournaments of deadly football. And in return, his life would be spared.

The true wrath of Sorgath
Sorgath, also known as 'the Son of Wrath' - leader of armies, feared by his enemies - was now the apparent head coach of a Blood Bowl team. He was not amused! But, if this was the mockery required to restore his reputation and powers, and to win himself a new army, then he would show the Old and New World alike the true wrath of Sorgath! Time to teach these warriors how to play ball...
Owners
The Dark Lords of the Realms of Chaos
The owners have little interest in the success of their Blood Bowl team and are more interested in mocking Sorgath and his coward champions for their defeat in battle. They do however reward the more promising players with dark powers and mutations. Although motivated by the humiliation of Sorgath, the benefits of the publicity of having a successful Chaos team in these games of lethal Blood Bowl are, after all, not completely ignored by the Dark Lords.
Head Coach
Sorgath, the Son of Wrath
Sorgath was far from voluntary when it comes to the assignment of head coach for a Bloow Bowl team. In fact, he'd never heard of Blood Bowl until he was offered the position. "Offered" in the most loose sense of the word, that is. Sorgath bargained with the Dark Lords for an army. Instead he was forced to choose between death and coaching a Blood Bowl team. He had no wish to die yet.
Players
Sorgath's chosen original champions
Following the defeat against the elven prince Elavenduil, Sorgath was demanded by the Dark Lords to pick his best champions from the survivors. These champions would form a Blood Bowl team. The players were picked from battle-hardened warriors that once joined Sorgath's campaign to sack the Old World. They weren't football players. In fact, few of them had even heard about Blood Bowl before being "offered" a position on the team in exchange for their lives.
Apothecaries
Nurgle Daemon Typhus and his helpers Kirri the Wicked and Dr Tomas
Typhus joined the team after their fifth game. He was far from Sorgath's first choice. It turned out good apothecaries that agree to tend to the walking and talking incarnations of evil is hard to come by. In fact, considering those terms, any apothecary was hard to come by.

Typhus is an old, slightly deranged Nurgle daemon that practices unorthodox experiments on what he calls biomass. He has two assistants: Kirri the Wicked and Dr Tomas. Kirri is a daemon imp that mainly procures bodies and living creatures for Typhus to experiment on. Dr Tomas was an up-and-coming doctor who, after he made a grave misdiagnosis of a patient, was cast out of the Guild of Healers. He now assists Typhus with the living patients of his. Mostly.
