| Having picked up the game from their elvish neighbors, and coming from a land out in the middle of nowhere by orcish standards, the 'takers play a little different style of ball than most orcs. They figure anyone who wants to crawl around on the ground isn't a threat, and they actually tend to focus on trying to score. Trying being the operative term. They opened with a bruising running game, but no one could pass, pick up the ball or otherwise add any other dimension to their game. Since then, they've found the answer to their passing woes in a new thrower who doesn't hate the ball like his predecessor, just after their running game broke its fragging neck. Same old, same old, as a team, the 'Takers suck, but they're having fun anyway. Besides, even if they are weird orcs, they still can't count high enough collectively to keep score. In memory of friends, of rivals... The Skulltakers will always honor and remember Ultiersson's team. Hall of Fame : Tugor Stinkfist : 103 SPPs, 16 TDs, 15 Casualties Became an assistant coach following a broken neck from an end-of-game foul by an opposing skeleton. Rag'th Arthag : 92 SPPs, 3 TD, 29 Casualties Age caught up with the otherwise durable ogre, causing him to miss more games than he was getting to. Ubrack Killbane : 82 SPPs, 10 TD, 14 Casualties Killed by an end-of-game foul by a human lineman. Earned a posthumous MVP for that final game. |
