| <p align="left">Originally The Merry Fatfellows was not a Blood Bowl team and actually came about as a merger between the health and fitness club "Merry and In Shape" and the cooking club <a href="http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=player&op=view&player_id=5194125">The Fatfellows</a>. The Cooking club had considerably more success than the health and fitness group and the now late <a href="http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=player&op=view&player_id=5194094">Billie Merriweather</a>, suggested that the Merry Fatfellows should start to play games of Blood Bowl as part of their exercise regime. The games turned out to be great fun and became very popular in no time! One day while visiting a human village <a href="http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=player&player_id=5196631">Willie Meadowpuff</a> happened to see a poster advertising a local Blood Bowl league. Willie immediatly packed up the wares he was peddeling and travelled home to tell his friends about the league. Little did Willie know that joining the leauge, which was named Acadamy and seemed like a friendly leauge, would turn out to be a horrible mistake. Despite the loss of several dear friends The Merry Fatfellows continiue to play Blood Bowl in the Acadamy league due to Willie being swindled into signing a contract during The Merry Fatfellows' very first leauge game. Willie's close friend and second cousin, <a href="http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=player&op=view&player_id=5194174">Rene Cloudskittle</a>, was gravely injured and in order to have a Blood Bowl licensed apothecary perform emergency surgery, Willie signed what turned out to be a contract that gave the apothecary full control of the team. The Merry Fatfellows apothecary and coach have since then pitted The Merry Fatfellows against dangerous and far more experienced teams in order to cash in on the bloodlust of the average Blood Bowl fan.</p> |
